Adrienne Charuel, a multi-faceted artist from Manila, is the creative force behind Maison Métisse. Her fashion journey began at École Supérieure des Arts et Techniques de la Mode (ESMOD) in Paris, where she honed her skills in Fashion Design. After her studies, Adrienne explored Saori weaving in New York, a Japanese zen-inspired technique that deeply resonated with her artistic vision. This meditative craft led her to experiment with Ai-Zome, Sacred Embroidery, and Natural Dyes, guiding her towards ethical textiles and sustainable fashion.

Returning to the Philippines in 2019, Adrienne drew inspiration from her heritage and collaborated with local artisans. Her designs celebrate Philippine culture through a blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern sustainability.
